How we work

A method, not a pitch.

The same discipline runs through everything we do, the study included: diagnosis before prescription, evidence before opinion. Every question is argued in two voices. The brand voice asks what the work should mean. The evidence voice asks what the numbers can prove. Where they meet is the third voice: judgment.

Our approach

Four stages, two voices, one judgment.

01

Diagnose

Brand voice

Is the story true? What does this brand stand for in the market’s mind, not in the deck?

Evidence voice

What is the stack actually doing today, and can the numbers coming out of it be relied on?

Judgment

The real problem, named. Not the stated one. We read the story and the stack together, and how the organisation actually works day to day.

02

Frame

Brand voice

What should this brand mean, and where has it earned the right to play?

Evidence voice

If the stack can’t carry the frame, the frame isn’t real.

Judgment

A business case with conviction and a measurable target, not a technology wish-list.

03

Build

Brand voice

The craft: narrative, identity, work that earns attention and belief.

Evidence voice

The stack connected and instrumented, stood up so the work generates its own evidence as it runs.

Judgment

Work that carries meaning and can be measured. Designed and stood up with the team that will run it.

04

Measure

Brand voice

Did it build the brand: salience, pricing power, belief?

Evidence voice

Did the number move, and can the business see why?

Judgment

Proof in both languages, and a handover the team can run without us. The goal is to make ourselves unnecessary.

The study: three pillars

Research methodology.

The approach is mixed-methods. Secondary research frames the questions. The survey and the in-depth interviews provide the primary data. Analysis reads the aggregate numbers alongside coded interview evidence, over a structured research corpus rather than inside any single tool.

01

Evidence in three phases

A literature review sharpens the questions. A quantitative survey of senior marketing and technology leaders builds the aggregate picture. In-depth interviews then explain, validate, or contradict the numbers, adding a further layer of robust primary research. In that order, deliberately.

02

Cross-vertical by design

The study covers a broad set of the industries operating in India, for a cross-vertical understanding of the MarTech ecosystem and its applications. The first study focuses on business-to-consumer organisations. Participants are recruited personally, never by list.

03

Traceable end to end

Every number in the report traces to a raw response. Nothing a participant says is quoted without their consent. Participants see their sector benchmark before the public does.

The method, turned on ourselves. The study is this method applied to our own market, in public: open, by invitation, to the people who live these questions.
