Independence
Independent thinking produces work worth trusting. We follow evidence, not assumptions, and no vendor or platform funds our conclusions. No borrowed playbook, and no agenda beyond the record.
About
ThirdVoice is an independent marketing advisory, founded by two practitioners with complementary expertise: one shaped by brand building, the other by marketing technology. We lead with intellectual conviction, and we aim to produce original, India-specific research at the intersection of the two.
Why we exist
Brand and MarTech thinking exist in almost entirely separate professional communities in India. Brand practitioners rarely have the time to understand the technology infrastructure powering customer experiences. MarTech practitioners often have limited visibility into the strategic principles that underpin sustainable brand growth. The ability to hold both is the structural moat.
This is the gap we want to study: not as another voice with something to sell, but as two practitioners trying to understand the market on its own terms. ThirdVoice begins this journey with The State of Marketing Technology in India, our first project. Some answers we will find ourselves; the rest we will build with the community that lives them.

Independent thinking produces work worth trusting. We follow evidence, not assumptions, and no vendor or platform funds our conclusions. No borrowed playbook, and no agenda beyond the record.
02
We have spent our careers in the domains ThirdVoice now brings together, building and advising. We ask questions we have answered for clients ourselves. Badly at first, then better.
03
We diagnose before we prescribe. We arrive with questions, not ready opinions. Where the evidence runs thin, we say so. Strong views, held honestly, open to correction.
The two of us
ThirdVoice is built on a simple complementarity. One of us has spent a career inside brand and growth, the other inside data and technology. In isolation, the two would not explain the market as a whole. Together, they cover its full arc from the stack to the story, which is roughly what our first project needs.
Brand, Integrated Marketing and Founder Growth
For close to three decades, Ravpreet has worked across the full spectrum of brand building, from global agencies and boardrooms to founder-led ventures and venture capital. Her experience spans telecom, consumer goods, healthcare, aviation, technology and consumer investing, which gives her an unusual view of how brands grow and endure.
She has held senior leadership roles across Publicis Groupe, including Executive Vice President at Leo Burnett and Executive Director at Publicis Worldwide, leading businesses, integrated communications and strategic transformation. As Chief Marketing Officer at Rukam Capital, she worked where venture capital, founder strategy and brand building meet, helping early-stage consumer brands turn ambition into a narrative that lasts. She now brings agency, corporate and investment-side experience together to help brands decide with sharper judgement.
Marketing Technology & Automation, Data Strategy
Gurleen has spent two decades in digital transformation and marketing automation consulting. Her engagements cover CRM and loyalty, CDPs, retail media, and first-party data activation. She has long made the case that the offices of the CMO and the CTO need a shared understanding of the stack, especially now.
She began her career in 2006, in the fledgling e-commerce space, and then spent three years as the founder of an edtech start-up. She went on to lead customer-experience and digital-transformation practices, first at Metro Cash & Carry and then at IBM. Sitecore, a customer experience management (CXM) platform, was a chance to merge technology consulting with the product ecosystem. At Publicis Epsilon, she worked on delivering cohesive MarTech and Media solutions, with personalisation extending to programmatic media. The result is a particular view of the foundational components of customer experience, how they have evolved over twenty years, and how to navigate the current “hype” cycle.
It all starts with a question. The State of Marketing Technology in India is our attempt to answer the ones this page raises. If you have a perspective on them, we want to hear it. The wider the set of voices, the better the record.
